I got my kit in a raffle drawing at a Mad City Modelers club contest on April 10th, 2010.
THE KIT:
Testors-Italeri is an old prolific plastic model kit manufacturer based in Italy. They make all manner of plastic model kit subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a blousy, shrink-wrapped, end-opening type box. The box is 2 ½” too long and an inch too wide.
I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end-flaps of the box to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The box art shows a color photo of the model made up and sitting on a work bench. It shows 2 U.S. Army medics carrying a wounded man on a stretcher.
All the men wear olive-drab uniforms. The 2 medics wear steel helmets with chin straps. The helmets have a white circle with a red cross on it on the front of their helmets. At the top, it says: Unassembled kit. Recommended for experienced modelers age 10 and over.
At the bottom it says: Photo enlarged to show detail. Parts, cement and hobby accessories not included.
One side panel of the box gives a one-paragraph description of medics.

The other side panel of the box lists items needed to build the kit.
The bottom of the box gives the kit’s features, followed by 4 color walk-around type photos of the model made up.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
This kit holds 3 black parts trees in a single sealed clear cello bag and the instructions.
The instructions consist of a single sheet, printed on both sides, in 8 ½” x 11” page format.
The face side gives ASSEMBLY TIPS & FIGURE PAINTING instructions.
The reverse side gives assembly instructions as a line drawing of the 3 figures and the stretcher. Sheet is folded once to fit the box.

Two black trees each hold parts of one medic (divided into separate heads, torso halves, arms and legs) also a steel helmet, medicine bag and a base plate to opt to put the figure on. (10 parts ea.)
The third tree hold parts of the wounded man (divided into separate head, torso halves, arms and legs), also a plasma bottle, 2 ammo pouches and the stretcher parts (12 parts)
There are no decals included. There should have been for the helmet and shoulder red-cross markings.
The detail is good and the kit will make up into an interesting scene.
