THE KIT:
Spojnia was a model company based in Poland. I don't know if they exist any more?
This kit came in a flimsy shrink-wrapped tray and lid box. My kit is badly crushed.
The box art shows a Lublin R-XIII flying above the clouds. It is in a wave pattern of dark-green, tan and grey over a light-blue under carriage. It has a large white letter E on the sides of the fuselage, just before a white square with a bumble-bee on it. Behind the white square is a small black serial no. 56.126. On the rudder is small black lettering LUBLIN R-XIIID over No. 56.126. Underneath its wings is large black letter of N under one wing and 24 under the other.
One side panel shows a color side profile of a Lublin R-XIII ter floatplane version that is overall light cream colored with a grey nose. It's fuselage code is white 710 . In small black lettering on the rudder there is LUBLIN R-XIII tier over No. 710. It is of the Navy Air Regiment at Puck. It has 2 different sized of Polish checkerboard national insignias under the wings.

The other side panel has another color side profile of a Lublin R-XIII-D that is in the same camouflage as the box art subject. It has a shield on the side of the fuselage that is divided diagonally into white and red. It has a black fuselage number behind the shield 58-114. In black small letters on the rudder there is LUBLIN R-XIIID over No. 56.114. Under the wings there is large black letters N under one wing and 24 under the other.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
The kit contains 3 chalk-white trees and a clear windshield in 3 huge blousy un-sealed clear cello bags, the large decal sheet and the instructions. The clear windshield is tiny and Spojnia wrapped it in several layers of a Kleenex tissue. I put it into one of my old white pill containers with a hinged lid to keep it from getting lost.
On large cello bag has MADE IN ITALY printed on it in large letters. Now, I wonder if the kit was molded there or in Poland??
The instructions is a single-sheet folded in the center to create 4 pages in 7 1/2" x 11" page format. It is all in Polish.
Page 1 begins with a black and white repeat of the cover art, over the history and specifications of the Lublin R-XIII and Spojnia's address in Lodz, Poland, with their telephone number.
Page 2 has an explanation of symbols they use in the assembly steps.
Across page 2 & 3 is 9 assembly steps, over a listing of the names of all the kit parts and some general instructions, all in Polish only.
Page 4 is the painting and marking guide, showing a 3-view and two 2-views of the three Lublin R-XIII already described above.
Trees are not alphabetized or illustrated in the instructions. They do have part number tabs on the trees next to the parts however. Bad move Spojnia!!
The first chalk-white tree holds: fuselage, cowling, engine, rudder, elevators, wing struts, seat, dashboard, machine gun etc. (42 parts)

So, this kit can be built as either the wheeled version or float plane version.

The large decal sheet completes the kit's contents. Markings on it are rather widely space, creating this long sheet.
