HISTORY:
Equipments such as sleeping-bags, jerry-cans and steel drums can be attached on the Allied vehicles and tanks. A jerry-can was called a blitz can (direct copy of the German jerry-can) at first. However, the American-type was produced later.
The canvas 1936 field-bag and ammunition-bag could be carried on the shoulder of a soldier. The bag should be filled according to its shape.
The folded bags have a variety of colors because of many factories producing them and its fading of color due to the weather. Khaki and olive-drab are the basic colors. Then buff and red-brown might be used for better reality.

THE KIT:
Tamiya is an old prolific model company based in Japan. They manufacture all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped end-opening type box.
I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps of the box to become lost forever.
Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The cover art of the box is done against one of Tamiya’s SIGNATURE all white-backgrounds, that they use for the majority of their box arts.
Shown is a color illustrations of sacks, tarps, jerry-cans and fuel-drums, aboard a line drawing of a stake-sided Allied truck (truck not included in the kit).
One corner of the box art says: Ready to assemble static display model. Modeling skills helpful if under 10 years of age. Cement and paint not included. Vehicle not included.
All the accessories shown are in olive-drab shades.
One side panel of the box shows 8 different accessories: a 200 liter steel fuel drum, American jerry-can, blitz-can, yellow caution plates, canvas watering bucket, ammunition-bag and canvas 1946 field-bag.

The bottom of the box serves as the assembly and painting guide for the accessories. They are shown mounted on a stake-sided truck and a tank, both done as line drawings. Below them is the history of allied accessories in Japanese and English.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
The kit contains 2 identical olive-drab parts trees and a decal sheet in a sealed clear cello bag.
Trees are alphabetized as both being letter Z. Which is a waste of time.
