THE KIT:
Tamiya is an old prolific model company based in Shizuoka City, Japan. They make all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped end opening type box. I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The box art shows 5 famous generals: Patton, Eisenhower, MacArthur, Montgomery and Rommel.
The box bottom has color photos of the 5 figures made up, over a lot of Japanese text.

Over the years that I've had this kit I have removed Patton from the parts tree and also cut his picture off the box. What I ever did with him I have no clue any more.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
The kit contains one light-tan tree of parts. It holds the parts of the 5 generals.

All the figures are full bodied with separate arms and hats.
Montgomery wears a beret on his head and has a tea cup in his right hand.
Rommel wears a long leather coat with a seperate back panel he has a pair of goggles and a pair of binoculars that go with him.
MacArthur has his famous corn-cob pipe for him.
Eisenhower has his arms behind his back.
I'm pretty sure I remember Patton having his pearl handled revolver included.
This is a well detailed kit of these 5 guys.
