HISTORY:
The Panzerkampfwagen E-100 (Gerät 383) (TG-01) was a German super-heavy tank design developed towards the end of World War II. The largest of the Entwicklung series of tank designs intended to improve German armored vehicle production through standardization on cheaper, simpler to build vehicles. By the end of the war, the chassis of the prototype E-100 had been partially completed; it was shipped to the United Kingdom for trials, but was later scrapped.

THE KIT:
DML (also named Dragon) is an old prolific plastic model kit manufacturer based in Hong Kong, China. They make all manner of plastic model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped tray and lid type box.
The cover art shows a color illustration of an E-100 on display in front of a large shed and being viewed by a group of officers, who are standing in front of a Brummbar tank and behind a wood table with a display of ammo rounds on it.
The E-100 and the Brummbar are both in camouflages of a base of earth-yellow with a wave-pattern of dark-green on them. The E-100 has a small black and white German cross on the sides of the turret. No markings are visible on the Brummbar.
The 8 officers that are doing the viewing are dressed in various types of uniforms.
Atop the Brummbar there are 2 crewmen, dressed in black Panzer uniforms with cloth side caps.
The upper right corner of the box art says: Unassembled model kit. Small parts included.
The lower right corner says: This kit contains 314 parts. For children aged 10 and over. Box contains a model of one armored vehicle.
One side-panel of the box has 6 one-paragraph histories of the E-100 in that many languages, including English. Each language is labeled with a color illustration of the country that speaks the language.
Followed by Marco Polo Import Inc’s. street and FAX addresses in City of Industry, CA. They were the importer and distributor of DML kits when this kit was released. Copyright of the kit is 1994 and the kit was made in Hong Kong, China.

Page 2 begins with CAUTION about the kit, over international assembly symbol explanations and a paint color listing of Gunze Sangyo and Italeri brands of hobby paints in the 6 languages.
The bottom of page 2 through to page 6 gives a grand total of 11 assembly steps.
Page 7 is a painting and marking guide. It shows a 4-view profile of the E-100 in the cover art scheme.
It is as it looked in Berlin, 1945.
Page 8 has the parts trees illustrations down the left hand column.
Three parts on the letter F tree are shown blued-out. Meaning they are excess and not needed to complete the model.

There are no figures included in the kit.
