THE KIT:
AFV Club is an old prolific model company based in Taipei, Taiwan. They manufacture all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a very blousy, shrink-wrapped, end-opening type box. The box is a whopping 5 ¼” too long and 3” too wide. This has got to be the most blousy kit I own.
The cover art shows a line drawing of a Sd.Kfz. 251 that is ghostlike, over a color illustration of a track link that is in the kit. It has steel colored metal parts and a black pad.
This is all posed against an all-white background, similar to how Tamiya brand also does the majority of their box arts.
One side panel of the box gives AFV Club’s street address in Taiwan and their telephone and FAX numbers, in Chinese and English. The kit is intended for modelers aged 10 and older, in multiple languages including English. The importer for Europe is Azimut Productions and their address in Paris, France is given.

The bottom of the box serves as the assembly instructions. It shows a grand total of 5 assembly steps. Two international assembly symbol explanations are shown. Colors of only steel and black are called out in Gunze Sangyo, Humbrol, Revell and Life Color brands of hobby paints.
WHAT’S IN THE KIT:
This kit holds 4 black trees of plastic parts and 4 black rubberized trees, in 2 sealed clear cello bags.
Trees are not alphabetized or illustrated in the kit anyplace and have no part numbers next to the parts on the trees.
The black plastic trees hold the metal parts of the tracks (32 parts per tree)

There is no Sd.Kfz. 251 in the kit, or any figures or decals.
Detail is very good. These will really dress up a Sd.Kfz. 251 kit.
Highly recommended.
