History:
Design of the T.IX was started in 1938 as the company's first all-metal bomber project. It was a mid-wing monoplane with twin fins and rudders and retractable landing gear, powered by two 1375 hp. (1025 kW) Bristol Hercules radial piston engines.
The T.IX first flew on 11 September 1939, but in April 1940 during testing it was damaged when it collided with a hangar door. The subsequent German invasion of the Netherlands stopped repair and further development.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Role: Twin-engine bomber
National origin: Netherlands
Manufacturer: Fokker
First flight: 11 September 1939
Status: Abandoned
Number built: 1
I am assuming this sheet is for this Croco aircraft kit of the Fokker T9. Although the specifications say Netherlands, the Luftwaffe also used a lot of Fokker built aircrafts.
I don’t think the sheet is all 1/72nd scale, due to the fact that it holds 6 black swastikas in 6 different sizes. To mark the rudder of a Luftwaffe aircraft it would take 2 swastikas the same size.
This small deal sheet comes in a zip-lock type clear cello envelope.
Croco is based in Latvia.
I wish to thank them for this sample sheet.
