THE KIT:
MiniArt is a model company based in the Ukraine.
This kit comes in a end opening type box that is not shrink-wrapped. The box is blousy and has a letter "L" void around the contents. It is 2" too long and 3 1/2" too wide.
The box art shows a short run of the links together and a few loose links. To the side is 3 color profiles of the Soviet tanks that these links are for: a T-34/85, a SU-85 and a T-34/76.
The box art says the kit is not a toy and it holds 176 parts. The kit is one of MiniArt's WWII Military Miniatures Series.
One side panel has 2 smaller repeats of the links on the box art in color, followed by the statement that the kit is not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts. This is in multiple languages, including English. The kit is designed for modelers over 14 years of age. MiniArt's street, web and e-mail addresses are next. The kit was made in the Ukraine.
The other side panel repeats some of this information again in 3 languages.
The bottom of the box serves as the assembly instructions, showing the 3 side profiles again. Below them is a listing of Hobby paint companies numbers for the color black.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
This kit contains 10 medium grey trees of links and 8 medium grey strips of links.
The FJ trees hold 8 medium grey links with guide teeth on them for a total of 80 links. There are what looks like rivets on each tree that are shaded out as being excess and not needed on the parts trees illustrations on the box bottom.

The 8 L strips of medium grey links each hold 12 links for a total of 96 links. These are smooth and do not have a gear tooth on each of them.

These links snap together and can be posed going over an obstacle. I prefer these plastic type links over the old rubber band vinyl type, that usually are featureless on one side. Metal links wind up weighing more than the tank they are put on.
I have several old Tamiya brand kits from the 60's and 70's that have the old rubber band type treads in them of T-34 variants. This set will grace one of those kits when built.
Highly recommended
I sincerely want to thank MiniArt for this review sample.
