THE KIT:
Dragon (sometimes named DML) is an old prolific plastic model kit manufacturer based in Hong Kong, China. They make all manner of plastic model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped tray and lid type box.
The box art shows a color illustration of 4 German mine detector men, posed against an all-white background. Similar to how Tamiya does the majority of their box arts.
The men all wear field-grey uniforms.
Reading left to right:
The first man is standing. He wears a grey steel helmet and head-phones. His trousers are bloused into high black jack boots. He is holding a long mine-detector probe in his hands. The electric equipment pack for it is mounted on straps on his back. He has full field gear on his belt. Behind him, on the ground, there are 2 square mines laying.
The second man to the right is standing. He also wears a steel helmet and jack-boots. He is holding a long metal rod that he is jabbing at the ground with. He has a Mauser 98K carbine slung on his back and full field gear on his belt. He has 2 long metal mines laying on the ground behind him.
The third man is standing. He wears a cloth billed field cap and his trousers are bloused over low black shoes. He has a long mine-detector probe in both hands. It is different from the one the first man holds. It has what looks like a microphone on its tip. He has the electric equipment pack for it mounted on straps on his back. Behind him on the ground are 2 square mines.
The fourth (and last) man on the right is kneeling. He also wears a cloth billed field cap and trousers bloused over low black shoes. He is probing the ground with a short wood probe. He has a long wood pole in a sack on his belt, along with full field gear. He has a Mauser 98K carbine slung over his right shoulder.
One side panel of the box shows 4 black and white illustrations of the mine detecting equipment.
The first illustration is of a Wien 41 mine detector with a electronics case, probe, control box and earphones. This is what the 3rd man in the box art is using.
The second illustration is a mine probe 39. It is what the second man in the box art is using.
The third illustration shows an Aachen 40 mine detector, with an electronics case, probe and headphones. It is what the first man in the box art is using.
The fourth illustration shows a TMD-1940 wooden anti-tank mine, a T-IV anti-tank mine, an M-1938 anti-tank mine and a PMZ-1940 anti-tank and anti-personnel mine.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
The kit holds 5 medium-grey parts trees in 5 sealed clear cello bags.
A brass PE fret in a zip-locked clear cello bag.
The instructions is a assembly and painting guide. Printed in color on one side of slick coated paper, in 7 ½” x 10” format.
It shows a front and rear view of each of the 4 mine detector crewmen. (already described above)
There are no parts-trees illustrations included in the kit. Bad move Dragon !
Trees are alphabetized.
Medium-grey letter B tree holds the parts of two of the figures and their gear (he is divided into separate head, torso-front and back parts, legs, arms, boots, hands) etc. (34 parts). I have fully assembled one of these figures.

Medium-grey letter GA holds more field gear (enough to equip. 6 men) (72 parts).
Medium-grey letter WA holds two 98K carbines etc. (18 parts).
Medium-grey letter GB tree is divided into 7 sections with some of the parts loose. Together they hold field equipment (56 parts).
