HISTORY:
The North American F-100 Super Sabre is an American supersonic jet fighter aircraft that served with the United States Air Force (USAF) from 1954 to 1971 and with the Air National Guard (ANG) until 1979. The first of the Century Series of USAF jet fighters, it was the first USAF fighter capable of supersonic speed in level flight.
The F‑100 was designed by North American Aviation as a higher performance follow-on to the F-86 Sabre air superiority fighter. Adapted as a fighter-bomber, the F-100 was superseded by the high speed F‑105 Thunderchief for strike missions over North Vietnam.
The F‑100 flew extensively over South Vietnam as the air force's primary close air support jet until being replaced by the more efficient subsonic LTV A-7 Corsair II. The F‑100 also served in other NATO air forces and with other U.S. allies. In its later life, it was often referred to as the Hun, a shortened version of "one hundred".

THE DECAL SET:
Euro Decals are produced by Fantasy Printshop Ltd. based in England.
This set comes in a zip-locked clear envelope.
The envelope contains a single sheet that is folded in the center to create a folder that is 5 ½” x 8” format. The cover art of the folder shows 4 color side-profile illustrations of the F-100D Supersabre. More about these schemes on the instruction sheets in the folder.
There are 2 decal sheets. Each has a tissue to protect its face from scratching. However, these are floating around loose and weren’t protecting a thing. I taped them to the decals.
Inside the folder there is 2 single instruction sheets printed in color on both sides in 8 ¼” x 11 ½” page format and folded in the center to fit the folder.
Face side no. 1 shows a 4-view color profiles illustrations of a F-100D that is overall bare metal with yellow nose outlined in red with arrows on it and a repeat of this on the sides of its rudder, with a shield emblem in the center.
