THE BOOK:
MMP (Mushroom Model Publications) is based in the UK. All their books are printed by their associate Stratus Publications based in Lublin, Poland, in English. Stratus also does their own line of books in both Polish and English.
The books is hard-bound of 580 pages in 8 ¼” x 11 ¾” page format. Four pages are blank.
The cover art shows a color photo of a Spitfire in Polish Air Force markings with its pilot sitting on the edge of the cockpit opening.
The back cover shows the color art of the book Polish fighter Colours 1939-1947, Vol. 1.
This second volume continues to describe in detail the camouflage and markings of the fighters used by the Polish Air Force from 1939 to 1947.
Aircraft of Polish, French, British, American, soviet and German origin are shown. The writing team includes the well-known quartet of distinguished Polish aviation historians (listed above as authors)
This book is profusely illustrated includes 359 black and white photos and 1 color one.
There are 114 color side-view illustrations and 10 3-view ones. These are of:
