THE KIT:
Dragon (sometimes called DML) is an old prolific plastic model manufacturer, based in Hong Kong, China. They make all manner of plastic model kits in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped, end-opening type box. I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end-flaps of the box to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The cover art shows 4 members of a U.S. Anti-tank Team in the back yard of a battle-damaged house. The yard surrounded by a thick hedge.
The men wear tan jackets, dark olive-drab trousers and helmets. Their trousers are bloused into gaiters at the bottom over black shoes.
The figures are alphabetized.
Reading left to right:
The first man (letter A) is kneeling, with a tan canvas bazooka round storage case by him. He is holding a round from it in his left hand.
The second man (letter B) to the right, is kneeling on his right knee and aiming a bazooka on his right shoulder.
The third man (letter C) to the right, is kneeling on his left knee and is holding a carbine in both hands, that has its stock resting on the ground. It has a stick-like grenade inserted into its barrel.
The fourth (and last, letter D) man, to the right is standing and holding another bazooka in both hands.
The letters B, C & D men all have tan canvas gas mask light-weight pouches slung on their backs. All the men have field gear on their belts.
The box bottom serves as the assembly and painting instructions. Each of the men are shown, in color, from the front and the rear, along with an illustration of a bazooka ammo case.
Below them are line-drawings of gas mask cases and bazooka ammo cases.
Illustrations are all done by Dragon’s resident artist Ron Volstad.

One side-panel of the box says: Contains parts for four figures. Paint and glue not included. In four languages, including English. Followed by the copyright for the kit as 2001. Over Dragon’s street address in Hong Kong, China and the kit was made there.
The other side-panel of the box shows 2 color box arts of other figure kits that Dragon manufactures: Kit no. 6147, 7.5cm Leichtgeschütz 49 w/crew and kit no. 6148, U.S. Army Airborne (Operation Varsity 1945). Followed by: Not suitable for children under 3 because of small parts. Importer for Europe is Italeri in Italy. For modelers aged 10 and over. In multiple languages, including English.

The largest medium-grey tree holds: the figures (divided into separate heads, torsos, arms and legs), 4 bayonets in scabards, 2 gas mask bags, 3 spades in carrying cases, 4 canteens, 4 steel helmets, 4 ammo pouches, 40 ammo pouches and 2 bazooka round storage cases (63 parts)

The first small medium-grey tree holds: 2 submachine-guns, a folding wire shoulder stock for one, a Panzerfaust and 2 carbines (6 parts)
The second small medium-grey part tree holds: a Thompson submachine- gun, 2 carbines (one with a stick grenade inserted in its barrel) and a Browning Automatic Rifle. (4 parts)
The first medium-sized, medium-grey tree holds: 3 carbines (one is automatic and one has a bayonet attached), 2 bazookas and parts of a flame-thrower (the flame thrower is not shown anywhere on the box and is extra). (13 parts)
There are no instructions to assemble the flamethrower and I did not know how it all went together. So I used a photo courtesy of Wikipedia for the purposes only of showing how it is to be assembled.
The second medium-sized medium-grey tree holds: a Thompson sub machine gun and 2 other sub machine guns, a carbine with bayonet attached and a bazooka. (8 parts)
The detail is very good.
