THE KIT:
Master Box is located in the Ukraine.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped end-opening type box. I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps of the box to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The cover art shows color illustrations of 4 Russian Tankmen, posed against an all-white background, similar to how Tamiya also does the majority of their box arts.
Reading left to right, the first man is standing and pouring water out of a bucket. He is bare- armed and bare-headed and wears a black pair of coveralls over a olive-green shirt and has low black shoes.
The second man to the right is standing and bent forward at the waist with his arms extended to catch the water being poured by the first man. He has his black coveralls pushed down to his waist, has low black shoes. He is wearing a olive-green shirt with its sleeves rolled up. He is bare-headed.
The third man is sitting n a wood shelf. He also wears the black coveralls, with a olive-green shirt underneath. He wears an olive-green cloth cap. On the shelf beside him is a box of ammo. He is cleaning a sub-machine gun with both hands.
The fourth (and last) man to the right is seated. He wears olive-green coveralls, that are pushed down to his waste. He is sewing on them with a needle and thread. He is bare-headed and wears black jack boots. He wears a long sleeved white shirt.
One corner of the box art says that the illustrations were done by A. Karashchuk. The sculptor of the kit is A. Gagarin. The kit includes parts for assembly of four figures. ATTENTION ! Set is not completed with glue and paints.
In the upper right hand corner of the box art there is an illustration of a brass badge with a white circle on it and Russian text.
One side panel of the box says, in 3 languages, including English: When working with model glue and paints, observe due precautions. Avoid inhaling vapors. Work in a well-ventilated room. Avoid material getting into eyes, mouth, as well as skin exposure. Should contact with eyes occur, immediately wash out with water and consult the doctor immediately. Only for collectors over 14 years old ! WARNING ! SMALL PARTS ! It is recommended to store construction set and accessories in a place beyond the reach of children below the age of 3 and domestic animals.
Languages are labeled with color illustrations of the flag of the country that speaks the language.

The other side panel of the box begins with a repeat of the info on the other side panel. This time in German, with a flag. This is followed with 3 color box art illustrations of other Master Box figure kits: Kit no. MB3532, “Bail out”, Russian Tank Crew Kursk 1943, Kit no. MB3527, German Checkpoint and Kit no. MB3529, Russian Infantry, Korsun-Shevchenkovskiy 1944.
The bottom of the box serves as the assembly and painting guide. The two seated figures are shown once and the standing figures that are pouring the water and catching it are shown twice. Color all described earlier. There are two color photos showing the group built up and around a Soviet T-34 tank (tank not included in the kit)
Paints listed to use are by Vallejo, Tamiya, Lifecolor, Humbrol and Agama brands.
