HISTORY:
The Lippisch P.13a was an experimental ramjet-powered delta wing interceptor aircraft designed in late 1944 by Dr. Alexander Lippisch for Nazi Germany.
The aircraft never made it past the drawing board, but testing of wind-tunnel models in the DVL high-speed wind tunnel showed that the design had extraordinary stability into the Mach 2.6 range.

THE KIT:
Revell is an old prolific model company with manufacturing facilities in California and Germany. This kit was made in Germany.
It came in an end-opening type box held shut with round disks of scotch tape.
I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet find their way past one of the end flaps to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The box art shows a "What If" scene of a P-13A attacking a group of B-24's above the clouds.
The P-13A is in a splinter of 2 shades of green over a light-blue undercarriage. It has a yellow and red band around the nose and a red 23 outlined in white on the rudder and skeletal white German crosses. No swastika is shown on the rudder, so as to keep this kit politically correct in countries where that symbol is outlawed.
One side panel begins with a suggested listing of Revell brand paints, followed by feature of the kit in 6 languages, including English and 3 color walk-around type photos of the model made up in the box art scheme.

The other side panel has the history of the P-13A in 4 languages, including English and features of the kit in 7 languages, including English and Revell's address in Germany.
The bottom of the box has color box arts of 6 other aircraft kits Revell manufactures and a photo of their paint and cement products. The aircraft kits shown are: a Fokker Dr-1 "Richtofen", a Alpha Jet, a Airbus A 340-300 airliner, a MBB BK-117 Space Ship helicopter, a P-38J Lightning "Droopsnoot" and a SA 336 Puma "Tigermeet" helicopter.
No kit numbers or scales are shown for these.
An explanation of the skill levels of Revell's kit is provided. This kit is labeled as a 3 skill level. That means it is more demanding and holds up to 100 parts.

The decal sheet completes the kit.
This is a neat aircraft kit. No pilot figure is included and it has engraved detail and all flaps are molded solid.
It will be of great interest to aircraft historians. Especially the "WHAT IF" boys, as well as modelers.
Highly recommended.
