THE KIT:
Academy is an old prolific model company based in Seoul Korea. They manufacture all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit came in a shrink-wrapped end-opening type box. I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps of the box to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The cover art shows color illustrations of Allied tank supplies: gun cleaning rods, a 50 cal. machine-gun, a crow bar, 2 shovels, a sledge hammer, crank, axe, mattock handle & head, tripod for a 30 cal., 50 cal. ammo boxes, rucksacks, tent pack & field bags, jerry can, tripod for 50 cal., 2 wood ammo boxes, 75mm HE & AP rounds & storage tube, 76mm HE & AP rounds & storage tubes.
One side panel of the box repeats the kit’s name and shows color illustrations of some of the parts in the kit.
