This book is soft-cover of 80 pages in 8 1/2" x 11 1/4" page format. The copyright date of it is 2008.
The front cover shows a pair of M3 Medum Tanks in Commonwealth service standing abreast in North Africa. At the right is an M3 Lee - designed for U.S. service, and at the left is an M3 Grant - built for British service with its characteristic large turret.
The back cover shows a column of M3's preparing to pull out while training at Ft. Knox. Road dust has coated the forward-facing surfaces of the tank - even the side door hinges - while leaving the sides of the vehicle relatively clean.
These two color illustrations are by Don Greer.
There are no less than 194 color walk around type photos of M3's. One is on out door display at the National Museum of Americans in Wartime and others of M3's at the Aberdeen museum.
These photos show virtually every last inch of M3's both externally and internally.
There are 6 color side profile illustrations showing different marks of the M3 including specifications.
Included also is a black and white line drawing of the co-axial machine gun and 3 drawings of variants of the main gun muzzles & a cut-away drawing showing the interior of a M3.
The color shots of the M3 in out-door display at Aberdeen Museum number 34.
The book contains 3 wartime color photos and 4 wartime black and white ones.
This has got to be THE BOOK to have for M3 info. Very highly recommended.

I purchased this kit last week at my local hobby shop that went out of business and had a 40% off sale on everything in the shop. Sadly, this was the LAST shop left in town...sigh. Looks like mail order for my needs from now on.
