This book is a compilation in which you will find in one place (3 volumes) the stories of all the German cruisers that were in Kriegsmarine service.
The author describes their history in the order in which they entered the service, devoting much attention to their construction, precisely describing the differences among others. Going back to the history of the service, trying not to forget about the many curiosities in this policy and people who have a direct influence on their fate.
Many excellent quality photographs, primarily from private collections. All the ships are described and illustrated with full technical specifications. Profusely illustrated with scale drawings and color illustrations, Cruisers describes in vol. 1:
The Emden
The Konigsberg
The Karlsruhe
The Koln
The Leipzig

A 2-view of the Karlsruhe, a side-view of it after remodeling and a cut-away line-drawing of it’s hull. A 2-view line-drawing of the Koln, a 2-view line drawing of how it looked in 1935 and 1941. A 2-view line-drawing of the Leipzig and a 5-view line drawing of it as it looked in 1934, also as viewed from the bow and stern and a 2-view of how it looked in 1936. A line drawing of a cruiser’s funnel. A 2-view line-drawing of the Leipzig as it looked in 1945.

This is a neat book on German cruisers. It will be of great interest to modelers planning on building a kit of any one of these cruisers and to naval historians alike.
