THE KIT:
Dragon is an old prolific model company based in Hong Kong, China.
They manufacture all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped tray and lid type box.
The cover art shows a color illustration of a horse that is pulling 2 two-wheeled carts. The first cart is carrying 4 German bazookas. It has spoked wheels. The second cart is a large wood ammo case on solid wheels. Both are Panzer-gray. The horse is brown, with a black mane and tail, white nose and legs.
There are 5 German infantrymen around the unit. They wear field-gray uniforms and steel helmets. All are armed with Mauser 98K carbines and have full field equipment on their belts.
All are moving down a rubble-strewn street past damaged buildings and a church.
One corner of the box says: Unassembled model kit. This kit contains 126 parts for modelers aged 10 and over, one horse, two carts and 5 figures.
One side-panel of the box shows three color photos of the model made up and posed on a base (base not included in the kit). Followed by the copyright of the kit of 1998, over Dragon’s street address in Hong Kong, China. Kit made there.
