HISTORY:
The Vickers 6-ton tank or Vickers Mark E, also known as the "Six-tonner", was a British light tank designed in 1928 in a private project at Vickers. Though not adopted by the British Army, it was picked up by several other armed forces, and licensed by the Soviet Union as the T-26. It was also the direct predecessor of the Polish 7TP tank.

Commander Series is an old prolific resin, metal and plastic kit manufacturer of assorted subjects of model kits, based in Rochester, N.Y.
The kit is a navy-blue tray and lid type box, that has white lettering on it that says: Commander Series Models Inc., Armor kits & accessories, Iron Shipwright signature series, with a white line drawing of the front of a tank with the front of a jet fighter in front of it, as Commander’s logo.
There is a color photo on the lid of the Vickers 6 ton tank model made up. It says the kit is for conversion of the 1/35th scale Spojnia 7TP kit.
Both side panels of the box repeat things on the lid, plus: Modeling experience suggested. Cast resin/white metal parts. Not for children and Commander’s street address in Rochester, NY USA.
The kit contains 13 resin parts:
There are 2 storage boxes, 4 wheels, an air intake, 2 main guns, hull top, turret and its upper hatch lid. All, but the turret top and hatch lid have pour-lugs that have to be removed.

The instructions consist of a single-sheet, printed on one side. It shows where to remove part of the hull of the Spojnia Vickers kit, in order to add the kit’s new upper hull part. Also, to remove all obstructions inside the assembled hull.
