HISTORY:
The RWD-14 Czapla (LWS Czapla) was a Polish army cooperation aircraft (observation, close reconnaissance and liaison aircraft), designed in the mid-1930s by the RWD team, and produced in the LWS factory from 1938. A series of 65 aircraft were built and most were used by the Polish Air Force observation squadrons during World War II in 1939.

MMP/Mushroom Model Publications is based in the UK. All their books are printed by Lublin in Sandomierz Poland in English. Lublin also does their own line of books in both Polish and English.
This book is soft-cover of 8 ¼” x 11 ¾” format.
It contains 5 sheets of line drawing scale-plans, that are 23 ¼” wide and folded in the center to fit the cover.
The cover art shows a black and white photo of 2 Czapla’s on an air field. Both have white fuselage bands and the one in the foreground has a white 37 on the rudder.
The first line drawing has 4 side-view illustrations in 1/72nd scale on the front. The reverse side shows 2 front views, a top and a bottom view in 1/72nd scale.
The second line drawing has 3 side views and illustrations of the bulkheads inside the Czapla in 1/48th scale. The reverse side has a top and bottom view in 1/48th scale.
The 3rd line drawing has a side, top, 2 front views and an engine illustration in 1/32nd scale. The reverse side has 2 side views in 1/32nd scale.
The 4th lone drawing shows a top view. The reverse side a bottom view in 1/32nd scale
The 5th line drawing shows a front and side view and an illustration of the engine in 1/32nd scale. The reverse side has a top view in 1/32nd scale.
This is one neat book. It will be of interest to modelers and aviation historians alike.
