THE KIT:
KP is based in Czechoslovakia.
The kit comes in a shrink-wrapped end-opening type box.
I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps of the box to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The cover art shows a Siebel SI-204 D/E flying above the countryside, It is in a splinter pattern camouflage of black-gray and black-green with a light-blue under-carriage. It has a wide yellow fuselage band with a German cross and a red letter D outlined in white before the band.
One side panel of the box has a small color repeat of the box art, followed by KP’s street address in the Czech Republic and the kit was made there.

The bottom of the box has color profiles of the sides, top and bottom of the Siebel Si showing the camouflage scheme pattern and markings placement.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
This kit holds 3 light-gray parts trees, a clear tree and the decal sheet in one sealed clear cello bag.
The instructions is a single sheet that is folded in the center to create 4 pages in 6 ¼” x 11 ½” page format.
Page 1 has a black and white photo in the upper left corner of an actual Siebel SI-204 D/E that is the one illustrated on the box art.
Across page 1 & 2 is the history and specifications of the Siebel, in English, German and Czech.
Across the bottom of the two pages is the parts trees illustrations.
Page 3 and the top of page 4 hold a grand total of 5 assembly steps.
The bottom of page 4 is the painting and making guide, showing a 4-view of a Siebel SI-204 E version.
It is in the same scheme as the box art subject. It carries black letters SP skeletal white German cross black KM on its fuselage sides and black SP under its right wing and black KM under the left wing, with black German crosses, outlined in white above and below the wings.
The swastika on the rudder is censored out on the cover art to make the kit acceptable in countries where the kit is sold that have the insignia outlawed. However, the swastika is printed white and cut in half on the decal sheet. It has to be put together to use it.
The trees are not alphabetized. They are however illustrated in the instructions and do not have part no. tabs next to the parts on the trees. Bad move KP !
The largest light-gray tree holds: the fuselage halves, propellers, rudders, elevators, cowlings, floor, bulkhead, main wheels, landing gear legs, tail wheel, seats, bombs etc. (46 parts)
