These were very interesting ships, one of a kind and successful, but also too late for their time. Lack of more interesting events related to their service, remaining idle at anchor almost the entire period of World War One and finally the collapse of Austria-Hungary means that nowadays, overshadowed by the much larger, bett armed and better-known battleships of the Tegetthoff-Class, no one remembers about these ships any longer.
THE BOOK:
Kagero is a publisher based in Lublin, Poland. They publish books in both English and Polish. This book is all in English.
The book is soft-cover of 80 pages in 8 1/2" x 11" page format. It came in a self-sealing clear envelope.
The cover art shows a black and white photo of the Radetzky-Class "Zrinyi" battleship.
The book contains a cardboard pair of goggles with one red lens and one blue one, to use to see the 3D illustrations in 3D.
There are 25 black and white photos of: the Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand, the Zrinyi, Radetzky, Seydlitz, an X type cruiser, the emblem of the U-481 submarine, the Italian Conte di Cavour, the Giulio Cesare, the Lettorio.
Color photos of: the U.S.S. Carl Vinson Carrier and aircraft aboard her, U.S.S. George H.W. Bush carrier and aircraft aboard her, U.S.S. Harry S. Truman carrier, planes at NAS Lemoore.
