THE KIT:
Heller is an old prolific plastic model kit manufacturer, based in France.
This kit comes in a tray and lid type box.
The box art shows a Renault R35 tank and Cannon 25 Model 1944, posed against an all-white background. Similar to how Tamiya brand also does the majority of their box arts.
The R35 is in a camouflage of green and brown. It has a French flag, followed by a white serial no. 50260 on the nose. The tank commander is seated in the rear hatch of the turret. He wears a black leather uniform and helmet.
In the background the Cannon 25 and three man crew are illustrated in black outline. Two men are manning the gun and kneeling. The third man is standing and looking through a pair of binoculars.
Text, across the bottom of the box art, is all in French.
One side of the box there are 2 color box arts of other model kits that Heller makes. An AMX 13 75 and a AMX 13 DCA.
Contents of the kit are described in English and German as:
Tank: 163 parts. Length: 114mm8. Breadth: 53mm4. Height 60mm8.
Pivoting turret. Moving tracks.
1 driver and 1 tank commander.
Gun: 63 parts. Length: 11mm5. Breadth: 31mm6. 3 figures.
The other side panel shows a repeat of the box arts on the other side panel and 1 more kit that Heller manufactures: An AMX 13 155.

Dark-grey tree 3 holds the parts of 2 more men, divided the same. (13 parts)
The dark-grey 4th tree holds another figure, ammo rounds, ammo box, wrench, ram rod etc. (35 parts)
This tree now is empty and I don’t know where the figure is.
Obviously I must have assembled it and put it elsewhere ?

Dark-grey tree no. 5 holds the parts of 2 more figures. They too are divided into separate heads, torsos, arms and legs. Also 2 steel helmets (19 parts)
Dark-green tree no. 6 holds turret parts (31 parts)
Dark-grey tree no. 7 held drive sprockets, road wheels etc. All of which I have assembled. I don’t remember how many parts where on this tree originally.
Dark-grey tree no. 8 holds detail parts I have assembled some of these and cannot remember how many used to be on this tree.
There are 2 black rubber track lengths and a tow cable with loops on the ends and a length of brass chain.
I have the model partially built.
I have loose parts ready to be added to the kit such as the idlers, running gear, etc.
The decal sheet completes the kit contents.
The instructions are an unbound booklet of 6 pages in 8 ¼” x 12”, with history, parts listing , 15 assembly steps and painting instructions, over a customer assistance coupon.
There are 2 other sheets that are 16 ½” X 12” and again show the history and part names. Both folded twice to fit the box.
I have included an On the Mark brand PE set of 2 brass frets of fittings for the R35 to the kit.
