This decal sheet and 2 other sheets are to 1/48th scale and 1 other sheet is to 1/35th scale.
All the decal sheets are the water-slide type.

This decal set comes in a zip-locked clear cello bag.
It contains the decal sheet and the instructions.
The decal sheet comes with a cloudy sheet to protect its face from scratches.

The instructions is a staple-bound booklet of 12 pages in 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” page format. The decal sheet is the same size.

Page 3 shows a color 4-view of a FM-2 Wildcat.
It has a sea-blue spine, intermediate-blue sides and a insignia-white undercarriage. It has a small white triangle with a black no. 7 on it on the sides of the rudder. There are illustrations under the cockpit on the sides of a black outline of a shield with winged hornet on it and a second shield that is white and outlined in gold with gold wing and torpedos on it. It has U.S. star and bars on the fuselage sides and above the left wing and below the right wing.
It was number 7 of Composite Squadron 4 (VC-4) based aboard U.S.S. White Plains 1944.
Page 4 shows a color 4-view of a FM-2 Wildcat.
It is overall sea-blue. It has a stenciled white fuselage number 22, U.S. stars with bars in the 5 locations. A white outline of a 4-leafed clover on the rudder sides and above the right wing and below the left wing.
It was number 22 of Composite Squadron 93 (CV-93) based aboard the U.S.S. Petrof Bay, April 1945.
Page 5 shows a color 4-view of a Wildcat Mk. VI. It has a dark slate-grey spine, over an extra dark-sea-grey sides and a sky type S undercarriage.
It has a small white F on the sides of the front rim of the cowling.
It was JV699 ‘J.F.’ of an unknown naval air squadron, Fleet Air Arm based aboard HMS Trumpeter, December 1944.
Page 6 shows a color 4-view of a Wildcat FM-2 that is extra dark-sea-grey over insignia white bottom. It has a black no. 20 on the sides of the fuselage and on the sides of the rudder and 5 U.S. stars with bars in the usual 5 locations.
It was no. 20 of Composite Squadron 36 (VC-36) based aboard the U.S.S. Core, April 1944.
Page 7 shows a color 4-view of a Wildcat Mk. VI that is overall sea-blue. It has a wide white band around both wings and narrower white bands around the elevators. A narrow white band around the top of the rudder, that is over a narrow white vertical rectangle. Fuselage code is a white B roundel Is, followed by white Royal Navy, over JV 148.
It was with JV 148 ‘BIs’ of 882 Naval Air Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, based aboard the HMS Searcher, 1945.
Page 8 shows a color 4-view of a Wildcat FM-2 that is overall silver-dope, with a black anti-glare panel in front of the windshield. It has a black fuselage number G50 under the cockpit and 5 U.S. stars with bars in the usual locations.
It is no. G50 of an unknown training squadron, based in the USA, 1944.
Page 9 shows a color 4-view of a Wildcat FM-2, that is sea-blue over intermediate-blue and a insignia-white undercarriage. It has a large white stenciled fuselage code A16 and a small white no. 4 on the sides of the forward rim of the cowling, followed by a little larger white 16 on the sides of the cowling.
It was no. A16 of Composite Squadron 78 (VC-78) based aboard the U.S.S. Matanikau, 16 November, 1944.
Page 10 shows a color 4-view of a Wildcat Mk. VI. It is overall sea-blue. The fuselage code is yellow J3 roundel V, followed by white Royal Navy, over JV851. It has a small white letter V on the sides of the forward rim of the cowling. Roundels are in the usual 6 positions. It has a red, white and blue vertical flash on the rudder sides.
It is no. JV851 ‘J3V’ of the 294th Naval Air Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, based at RNAS Eglinton, November 1945.
