HISTORY:
The Lancia Ro, Lancia Ro-Ro and Lancia 3Ro were 4x2 heavy trucks built by Italian manufacturer Lancia from the 1930s through the 1940s for military and civilian use. The 2-cylinder diesel Ro was produced from 1933 to 1939, the 3-cylinder diesel Ro-Ro from 1935 to 1939 and the improved 5-cylinder diesel 3Ro from 1938 to 1947.
Ro and 3Ro saw extensive military service during the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and World War II, chiefly as two of the main heavy trucks of the Royal Italian Army.

THE KIT:
IBM Models is based in Warsaw, Poland. They are prolific and manufacture armor, ship and aircraft models in the popular scales. IBG stands for International Business Group.
This kit came in a not shrink-wrapped sturdy tray and lid type box.
The box art shows a 3Ro truck parked in the desert. It is overall saharian khaki with light colored canvas roof over the cargo compartment. It has white edges on the front fenders, but no other markings.
There is a figure of a Italian soldier in N. African uniform leaning against the truck and smoking a cigaret. He is in a tan uniform of shorts and a shirt that has rolled up sleeves.
He wears knee socks over his shoes. He has a rifle slung on his back and canvas pouches on his belt. He wears a grey steel helmet over a white cloth that covers his head and neck.
However, this figure is not included in the kit unfortunately.
One side panel begins with IBG Models address in Warsaw, Poland, over their telephone and FAX numbers, E-mail and web addresses. This is followed by "Kit not suitable for children under 14 years, because of small parts. Plastic adhesive and paints are not included. Instructions for assembly are inside the box".

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
This kit contains 19 medium-grey trees and 7 medium-grey tires and a clear tree in 5 sealed clear cello bags and 5 zip-locking cello bags, a brass PE fret and decal sheet in a cello bag with a stiff white card to prevent the PE fret from bending and the instructions.
The instructions consists of a staple-bound booklet of of 16 pages in 8" x 11 1/4" page format, printed on slick-coated paper.
Page 1 begins with a small color repeat of the box art, over assembly symbol explanations, a color illustration of the decal sheet and PE fret and a suggested paint color listing of Vallejo Model Air, Hataka, Life Color, Mr. Hobby and AK Interactive brands of hobby paints. All said in Polish and English.
Page 2 is the parts trees illustrations.
Page 3 through 13 gives a grand total of 43 assembly steps. One step is un-numbered.
Pages 14, 15 & 16 are painting and marking guides.
Page 14 shows a 5-view of a 3Ro in overall grey-green with white license plates on the front and rear with black serial no. RoEto72012. It is of an unknown unit.
Page 15 shows a 5-view of another 3Ro in overall Saharan khaki, with white license plates on the front and rear with black serial no. RoEto191919. It was with the LII Artillery Group, N. Africa 1942.
Page 16 shows a 5-view of another 3Ro in overall grey-green with a white lightning bolt on the front of its radiator and white license plates on the front and the rear with black serial no. RoEto101168. In Tunisia, 1942-43.

There is no letter E tree.

There are 4 identical medium-grey letter F trees. They hold the canvas roof supports for the cargo area. (4 parts each)
Lettering jumps to the 4 identical medium-grey letter H trees. They each hold tires, etc. (17 parts each)
Medium-grey letter I tree holds wood cargo area walls (3 parts)
Lettering jumps again to clear letter L. It holds the headlight lenses (2 parts)
Clear letter M tree holds the cab windows (3 parts)
Medium-grey letter N tree holds the cargo area's canvas roof (1 part)
Lettering jumps again to the medium-grey letter V tree. It holds: the cargo area floor and it's supports (5 parts)
Medium-grey letter W tree holds the driver's compartment rear wall, rear fenders etc. (8 parts)
Lettering jumps a last time to the 4 identical medium-grey letter Z trees. They each hold storage lockers (2 parts each)
Finally are the loose medium-grey tires (7 parts) These are not alphabetized.
The brass PE fret is filled with parts to improve the basic and include screens, frame supports, tie downs, etc. (42 parts)
The decal sheet completes the kits contents.
There are no figures included. I would have loved to have seen the figure on the box art included, or at least a driver figure and maybe some cargo items.
