This book brings together the most important AFVs of the first half of the twentieth century in a single, handy volume. The book includes classics such s the Sherman and Tiger tanks, as well as lesser-known models such as the Soviet Ba-10 armored car and the German Hetzer self-propelled gun.
The book features 150 entries of the most important AFVs of the era. Every vehicle is illustrated with an accurate color artwork. Each entry includes a specifications table with essential information such as armament, weight, speed and range. The concise text provides a summary of the design, development, service history and performance of each vehicle.
In addition to the color profiles, there are 2 black and white photos of WWI tanks and 15 of WWII ones. Also included is a color photo of a restored U.S. M-4 halftrack.
