THE KIT:
Italeri and Zvezda are both old prolific plastic model kit manufacturers. Italeri is based in Italy and Zvezda is in Moscow, Russia. These two companies co-operated on the development of this kit. They both make many plastic model kit subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped, end-opening type box. I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts of the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end-flaps of the box to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The box art shows a color illustration of 4 Soviet tank crewmen, around a faded illustration of a Soviet T-34 tank.(tank is not included in the kit). The men all wear dark-blue uniforms and black leather head-gear and high black jack-boots.
One man is standing in the upper turret hatch of the T-34. A second man is seated on its fender and holding a pair of binoculars. The third man is the driver of the tank and he is looking out the driver’s hatch. The fourth (and last) man is standing by the tank and pointing with his right arm. He has some folded paper-work in his left hand.
One side panel of the box just says “Soviet Tank Crew” and a lot of languages.

The other side-panel of the box says: For modelers aged 10 and over. Parts made in Italy and Russia. Packed in Italy by Italeri. Not suitable for children under 3 because of small parts. In multiple languages, including English.
