THE KIT:
Kirin is a model company based in China.
This kit came in a shrink-wrapped end-opening type box, that is taped shut and not shrink-wrapped.
I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
It is a generic black box with a sticker on it that has a color photo of the Aerosan crew made up. I also have Kirin’s kit of the Aerosan RF-8, reviewed elsewhere here. This is Kirin’s kit no.25016.
One side panel of the box gives the address in City of Industry, CA and the importer for Kirin in Europe is Italeri and their address in Italy is supplied.
The other side panel says the Kit is intended for modelers 13 and over in multiple languages, including English.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
The kit contains 2 assembled crew figures. Each wrapped in bubble-pack. There are no assembly or painting instructions. You don’t need the assembly ones as the figures are complete. But, you have to wing-it on painting and use the box art.
The two figures wear winter uniforms. One has a quilted jacket.
The other has a padded one. Both have padded pants and black jack boots.
The machine-gunner figure that goes into the front seat of the Aerosan wears a leather hat that has some white quilting and with ear- flaps.

The driver figure that goes in the rear seat wears a leather helmet with ear flaps and a spike on top. Their uniforms are khaki.
This is a neat figure kit and a necessity really to go in the Aerosan.
Highly recommended.
