THE KIT:
DML Dragon is an old prolific model company based in Hong Kong, China. They manufacture all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped end opening type box.
I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The box art shows 4 German infantry-men behind a wood wall that is built into the side of a sand dune. It has a MG34 machine gun on a bipod atop the wall.
The men all wear field-grey uniforms. Three of them wear steel helmets. All of their trousers are bloused into putties over low black shoes.
Reading left to right, the 1st man is standing with his arms raised in surrender. He has a bayonet in its scabbard, a canteen, Mauser 98K carbine ammo pouches and a canvas bread sack on his belt. His 98K is laying on the ground.
The second man to the right is kneeling on both knees, with his arms also raised in surrender. He as the same field equipment on his belt as the 1st man.
The 3rd man to the right is partially prone and supporting his upper body with his left arm. He is bare headed and his helmet and 98K carbine are on the ground beside him. He is holding his left shoulder with his right hand, apparently hurt. His field equipment on his belt is the same as the first 2 men.
The 4th, and last man to the right is standing with his arms raised in surrender too. His 98K lies on the ground. His field equipment is the same as the other 3 men.
There is an illustration on the side of the box art of the red shield insignia of the Georgien Legion. It says Georgien across the top in white and has a white rectangle on it.
One side panel says the kit contains parts for 4 soldiers. Paint and cement are not included, in 6 languages, including English.
This is followed by the copyright date for the kit of 2005, over DML’s street address in Hong Kong, China and the kit was made there.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
The kit contains 3 medium-grey parts trees and the small decal sheet in 2 sealed clear cello bags.

The small decal sheet completes the kits contents. It holds 4 Georgian shield insignia. But where they would go on these figures is beyond me.
The wood wall shown on the cover art is not included, but could easily be constructed out of balsa wood.
The kit parts have great detail.
