HISTORY:
The Heinkel He 112 is perhaps the least known German series production fighter. It saw service briefly with the Luftwaffe during the "Munich Crisis" participating in the Spanish Civil War, and saw some active duty during WWII with the air forces of Romania, Hungary and Spain.
Although highly rated by pilots, large scale production was doomed by politics.
The Heinkel He 112 is a German fighter aircraft designed by Walter and Siegfried Günter. It was one of four aircraft designed to compete for the Luftwaffe's 1933 fighter contract, in which it eventually came second behind the Messerschmitt Bf 109.
Small numbers were used for a short time by the Luftwaffe, and small runs were completed for several other countries, but only around 100 were completed in total.

Manufacturer: Heinkel
Designer: Günter brothers
