THE BOOK:
PeKo Publishing is based in Hungaria.
This book is hard bound of 118 pages in 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" page format and is wrapped in clear plastic sheet.
This is the 20th volume of PeKo Publishing's photo-monograph series.
The cover art is a black and white photo of what I think is a Stug. III Ausf. G.
Two crewmen are atop it manning a machine gun.
The back cover has another black and white photo on it of a Stug. III Ausf. G, parked in a snow-covered woods next to a destroyed 2 door sedan car.
It contains 96 black and white wartime photos of various versions of the Sturmgeschutz. Each photo is large and fills the whole page.
The text and picture captions are in both Hungarian and English language.
The photos are of: The Stug III Ausf. A (5 photos), the Stug. III Ausf. B (20 photos), the Stug. C/D (2 photos), the Stug, III Ausf. D (2 photos) the Stug. III Ausf. E (3 photos), the Stug. III Ausf. F (12 photos), the Stug. III Ausf. F/8 (3 photos) and the Stug. III Ausf. G (48 photos).
There are also 4 photos of Stug's being worked on in workshops.
Next to the last page has black and white cover arts of other AFV books in PeKo's WWII Photobook Series.
This is a great picture album. It will be of great interest to modelers that are going to do a Sturmgeschutz and also of interest to WWII military historians.
Highly Recommended.
I want to thank Casemate Publishing, who sent me this book sample and the folks at PeKo.
