HISTORY:
Germany began to build the modern army after 1933. The important part of Wehrmacht motorization was manufacturing of three-axle trucks.
One of them was the Krupp K3H63. It was in production lines since 1931. The modificationed K3H163 (1936-1938) had a 110 hp 6-cylinder petrol engine and pneumatic brakes.
All in all, there were produced about 2,000 Krupp L3H63’s and L3H163’s. Krupp L3H183 trucks were widely used by all German arms of service up to 1942, in Polish and French campaigns, in the Balkans and in the Soviet-German front.

This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped tray and lid type box.
The box art shows a Krupp L3H163 parked on a grassy field with a forest in the background.
It is overall panzer-grey, with a light grey canvas cab roof. It has a white triangle on the left front fender and white balls on the top of the curb feeler rods on the front fenders. The white rectangular license plate on the front bumper has black serial no. WH-150729 on it.
One corner of the box art has a sticker that says $14 and World of Tanks on it.
One side panel has a color 3-view of the truck in the box art scheme. It further shows the white triangle on the back of the truck.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
The kit holds 7 tan part trees and a clear tree in clear cello bags. The decal sheet and instructions complete the contents.
The instructions consists of a unbound booklet printed on slick-coated paper, of 12 pages in 7 ½” x 10 ¼” page format.
Page 1 begins with the history and specifications of the Krupp L3H163, over a suggested paint color listing of Model Master brand hobby paints, CAUTIONS about the kit, and a repeat of ICM’s street address, telephone & FAX numbers, and web address, all in Ukrainian and English.
Page 2 is the parts trees illustrations. Some parts are shaded out. Which means they are excess and not needed to complete the model..
Page 3 through to page 10 gives a grand total of 30 assembly steps.
Pages 11 and 12 are painting and marking guides.
Page 11 shows two 3-views of the truck. Both are overall panzer grey.
The first one has a white rectangular license plate on its front and rear with black serial no. WH-72912. It is shown as how it looked in Poland, in September 1939.
The second one has a white rectangular license plate on its front and rear with black serial no. WL-48150. It is shown as how it looked in France, June 1940.
Page 12 has two more 3-views of the truck, also in overall panzer grey.

There are no crew figures or a cargo load included. It would have been nice to have had both included in the kit.
The decal sheet completes the kit’s contents.

I have assembled the chassis, suspension,engine and fenders along with the drivelines,bumper and various pieces of equipment for the fenders.
The cargo bed was built next.
The cab interior was assembled next anlong with the controls.
With the interior complete I built the windscreen.
There are several loose pieces left to add to the kit such as tires, headlights,etc.
The wheel rims and handles.
The cab canvas top.
There is a card in the kit to redeem for 14 dollars of game items on the World of Tanks site.
Highly recommended.
