THE KIT:
Italeri is a prolific model company based in Italy. They manufacture all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit came in a shrink-wrapped end-opening type box. I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts of the decal sheet find their way past one of the end flaps to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The box art shows a nebelwerfer sitting on a sandy field with trees in the background. It is overall panzer-grey and has several rockets and their storage tubes piled around it.
One side panel has one paragraph histories of the nebelwerfer in 4 languages, including English. Each language has a color illustration of the flag of the country that speaks that language.
The other side panel continues these one paragraph histories in 3 more languages.
The bottom of the box has color photos of 5 other model kits that Italeri manufactures: kit no. 226, a U.S. ambulance, kit no. 320, a commando Jeep, kit no. 415, a checkpoint shack, kit no. 323, a 6 lb. gun M-1 and kit no. 417, a command post.

The kit is said to not be suitable for children under 3 years of age. It was made in Italy and Italeri's address is shown there.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
This kit contains 2 dark green trees of parts and the instructions. There are no decals in the kit, although the box art shows the nebelwerfer rocket storage tubes with some white stenciling on them.
The trees are not alphabetized. Instead they are marked with geometric symbols - a black square and a black triangle.
They have part number tabs next to the parts on them.
The black square tree holds: the tires, rockets, base plate etc. (50 parts)

There are no crew figures in the kit. It would have been nice if Italeri had included them.

I purchased my kit years ago at my local hobby shop.
