THE SET:
About Verlinden Productions:
Verlinden Productions is the epitome of aftermarket military kits and resin figures which brought thousands of military miniatures and related products to the market. The company is the brainchild of Belgian modeler Francois Verlinden, a Belgium-born entrepreneur, author of many books, photographer and military miniature artist who founded Verlinden Productions in the early 1980s.
Verlinden Productions is the granddaddy of the aftermarket parts and resin figure manufacturers. Verlinden has influenced legions of modelers, and will forever be one of the most significant figures in 1/35 scale modeling.
Verlinden's outstanding eye for detail and superior quality puts him in the top echelon of his craft. The resin quality is considered as one of the best in the world.
I have read, several places on the web, that Verlinden has gone out of business.
This brass PE set comes in a sealed clear cello bag.
It comes with the PE fret attached to a white color, white instructions on it.
The card is 6” x 7 ½” format and it gives Verlinden’s office address in Belgium.
It says: These life-like bannisters, guard rails and ornaments add the finishing touch to the building on your diorama. Make your front-steps with the bannisters.
Hang your antique lamps from, or place flower-pots or the ornaments, or catch that touch of old-time realism by placing the guard-rails in front of the ground-floor windows and you’ll have that contemporary “new art” look, so typical for pre-war houses.
Be sure to keep yourself informed about our new photo-etched accessories.
The illustrations show how to mount these 3 items and the fret is pinned to the lower left corner of the card.
This set will really dress up a building on a diorama.
Excellent detail.
Recommended.
