THE KIT:
Nichimo is a model company based in Sano City, Japan. I believe that they went out of business.
This kit came in a shrink-wrapped tray and lid type box.
The box art shows a "Nick" shooting down a U.S. B-29 bomber.
It is in a mottle of dark-green over light grey, with red and white bands around the spinners, yellow wing leading edges, wide white bands around the fuselage and wings with the Japanese red roundel on them.
It has a diagonal fuselage band outlined in yellow before the fuselage wide band and a narrow white fuselage band after the wide one. There is a hook-shaped yellow symbol outlined in white on the rudder.
The B-29 only shows the black de-icing boots on the wing leading edges and a black star with a white tail that has POSTVILLE EXPRESS on the tail on the side of its nose.
One side panel has a small repeat of the box art, followed by the history of the "Nick".
