THE KIT:
DML Dragon is an old prolific model company based in Hong Kong, China.
They manufacture all manner of model subjects in the popular scales.
This kit comes in a shrink-wrapped end-opening type box.
I am no fan of this type of box, because invariably parts or the decal sheet will find their way past one of the end flaps to become lost forever. Give me a tray and lid type box any day of the week.
The box art shows a color illustration of 4 German infantry hiding behind a log house.
All the men are dressed in field grey uniforms and steel helmets, with black jack boots. They all have their sleeves rolled up.
Reading left to right, the first man is prone and leaning on his left arm. His right arm is raised and his hand is holding a pistol. He appears to be signaling to someone out of sight to his right. I think he is either a sergeant or an officer. He has a MP40 machine pistol on the ground beside him, ammo pouches for the MP40, a gas mask canister, canteen, mess kit and a map case on his belt.
The next man standing to the right is armed with a 98K carbine. He has the same equipment, except for the map case, that the first man has on his belt on his belt also.
The 3rd man to the right is standing with his back against the wall of the log building. He has a 98K strung on his back and he is holding a potato masher type grenade in his hands. He has a white shirt underneath his jacket showing at the collar. He carries the same field equipment on his belt as the first 2 men, plus a bayonet in its scabbard.
The fourth and last man to the right is kneeling on his left knee and aiming his 98K carbine. His field equipment on his belt is the same as the other men’s, plus a shovel in its carrying case.
One corner of the box art says it is an unassembled plastic model kit of over 50 parts. It is for modelers aged 14 and over. Box contains models of four figures.
One side panel of the box has white illustrations of parts included in the kit, against a black background: a MP40 machine-pistol, a 98K carbine, a bayonet in its scabbard, 98K ammo pouches, a canteen, mess kit, MP40 ammo cases, an equipment box (that I cannot make out what it is holding?) and a storage box for potato masher type grenades.

The other side panel begins with a box art for DML’s kit no. 6704, German Waffen Grenadiers 1944-45, followed by kit not suitable for children under 3 due to small sharp parts and DML’S European office address in Graz, Austria, in multiple languages, including English.
Copyright of the kit is 2011, over DML’s street address in Hong Kong, China and the kit was made there.
The bottom of the box serves as the assembly and marking guide. It shows a front and back view of each of the 4 figures. Colors are called out in Gunze Sangyo and Model Master brands of hobby paints. A small repeat of the cover art appears at the bottom.
